New Wireless Phone Law - Cell Phones and Driving

There are 2 NEW wireless phone laws while driving going into affect July 1, 2008.
One rule pertains to drivers who are 18 years old and over.
The other rule for drivers under 18 years of age.
Simple put, it will be against the law to use a cell phone with driving unless you have a hands free device. So if you are caught or seen by a police officer while holding a phone to your ear, that is grounds to pull you over and give you a ticket.
With the exception if you are under 18 years old, in which case cell phone use while driving is strictly prohibited.
In case of emergencies such as calls to emergency services like a law enforcement agency, medical provider, the fire department or other emergency service agency.
Fines can range from $20 - $190 depending on the circumstances.
There is no grace period - July 1, 2008 - Be prepared.
